Project Manager & RS / GIS Team Lead at Geospatial Insight

Matt Driver has over 20 years of experience in the geospatial industry. Matt began their career in 1999 with Infoterra as an Orthophoto Team Leader, Orthophoto Shift Supervisor, and Digital Mapping Analyst. In 2010, they moved to Astrium GEO-Information Services as an Imaging Section Manager, responsible for all operations and management relating to imagery-based production. In 2013, they joined Airbus Defence and Space - GEO-Intelligence as an Applications Production Manager, and in 2014 they became the CQC Domain Leader for the Copernicus Data Access Service. In 2018, they returned to Geospatial Insight Limited as a GIS/Remote Sensing Team Leader, responsible for coordinating all technical work and supporting other teams with inputs for machine learning flowlines. In 2020, they moved to Energeo Ltd as an Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing all technical work and ensuring the team is informed and organised. Finally, in 2022 they returned to Geospatial Insight Limited as a Project Manager & RS/GIS Team Lead, an integral member of the technical and product delivery team ensuring all projects and products are built to specification, adhere to the budget and are delivered on time. Matt is also responsible for the management of the Remote Sensing and GIS team, supporting and developing their careers and building the team to support the future business growth.

Matt Driver attended North Warwickshire College from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Using IT. Prior to that, they attended John Cleveland College from 1997 to 1999.
