Jason Thomas

Jason Thomas is an accomplished embedded systems developer with extensive experience in firmware development and team leadership. Currently serving as Lead Embedded Systems Developer at GEOTAB since September 2019, Jason has previously held significant roles at Canadensys Aerospace Corporation and Lytx, Inc., where contributions included integrating DriveCam with AMOVI cloud services and resolving critical connectivity issues. With a strong background in firmware architecture, Jason has led teams through complete software development lifecycles while mentoring on best practices. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a course in Managing with Intent from Communitech Academy.
