Robert Swanson

Robert Swanson is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Vice President of Embedded Engineering at Geotab since August 2019, having previously held the role of AVP of Software Development. Prior to Geotab, Swanson was the Director of Engineering at BSM Technologies from October 2017 to August 2019 and spent over a decade at Sandvine fulfilling multiple engineering leadership roles, including Director of Engineering and Manager of Global Sustaining. Notable responsibilities included overseeing hardware development, managing a global engineering support team, and leading software development for manufacturing tools. Swanson holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University, obtained between 2002 and 2006.
