Smit Trivedi

Smit Trivedi is an IT Specialist at GEOTAB since July 2021, where responsibilities include vulnerability and patch management as well as overseeing asset management through the Oomnitza application. Prior experience includes a role as a Security Systems Analyst at SmartCentres REIT, focusing on the creation and maintenance of computer images for departmental deployment, and as an Information System Specialist at Modatek Systems, providing technical support and training for electronic devices and company-specific software. Smit Trivedi also completed a Systems Analyst co-op with the Government of Ontario, monitoring production servers and managing software licenses, and a Process Analyst co-op at CIBC, handling problem tickets and participating in root cause analysis. Academic credentials encompass a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from New York University, an accelerated cybersecurity training program at Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, an Associate's degree in Network and System Administration from Georgian College, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Srinivas Institute of Technology.
