Benjamin Heap

Benjamin Heap has a diverse work experience in various roles within the geosciences and sports fields. Benjamin began their career as a Geo/Data Scientist Intern at Earth Science Analytics AS in 2019, where they utilized data-analytic software and machine learning to improve sub-surface understanding. Benjamin also contributed to the development of EarthNETS core labelling tool. Following this, Heap worked as a Geoscientist at Geoteric from October 2019 to March 2021, focusing on technical support, business development, and client relationships in the Middle East. Benjamin then transitioned to the role of Business Development Geoscientist at Geoteric from March 2021 to February 2022. In this position, they provided technical advice, managed pilot projects, supported key accounts, and facilitated software training. Heap's most recent role at Geoteric is as a Business Development Manager, which they started in February 2022. Outside of the geosciences field, they also worked as an Athlete for British Rowing from November 2016 to October 2018.
