Sharon Hardy

Sharon Hardy has over 30 years of experience in various HR roles. Sharon worked as the Head of Human Resources at Geoteric from 2010 onwards. Prior to that, they were the Global HR Manager at DUCO Ltd from 2007 to 2009. Sharon served as the HR Director at Bede from 2004 to 2007. Sharon also had a long tenure at Applied Materials, where they held multiple roles including Country Manager, Director of Technical Training, and Regional HR Manager. Sharon worked at Applied Materials from 1994 to 2004. Additionally, they worked as an HR Manager at SCA Packaging from 1992 to 1993, and as a Personnel Officer at Philips Components from 1989 to 1992. Throughout their career, Sharon has achieved notable successes including establishing HR functions, reducing employee turnover, and implementing effective HR strategies.

Sharon Hardy began their education in 1983 at the University of St Andrews, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Sharon attended this institution until 1987. Following this, they enrolled at Fife College in 1989 and completed their studies in 1992, earning a degree in Human Resources. This degree was granted by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
