David A. Dodd

David A. Dodd is the current President & CEO at GeoVax. Prior to this, they served as the President & CEO at AEterna Zentaris Inc. from April 2013 to August 2017. Dodd is an active investor and has also served on the Board of Directors for PNP Therapeutics and RayBiotech, Inc.

Under Dodd's leadership at AEterna Zentaris, the company achieved its first NDA review and is anticipated to achieve FDA regulatory approval by year-end, 2017. David has also led a comprehensive restructuring of the Company, reducing staff from approximately 100 in April, 2013 to an 40. In addition, they led a major Board restructuring, focused on instituting strong corporate governance principles, including stock ownership requirements and other actions to better align the Board with shareholders.

David A. Dodd attended Harvard Business School, where they earned an AMP156 degree. David then went on to earn a M.S. in mathematical statistics and econometrics from Georgia State University. Finally, they earned a B.S. in mathematics and information systems from Georgia State University.
