John Niles has worked in the medical industry for over 40 years. John'scareer began in 1978 as a Market Researcher at Abbott. John then moved to Kendall Healthcare as a Product Business Development Manager in 1980. In 1989, they became Marketing Director at CR Bard. In 1993, they joined PAREXEL as Director of Medical Marketing Services. In 1996, they were Vice President of Marketing and Planning at Innovative Clinical Solutions Ltd. John then moved to Nationwide Children's Hospital as Chief Executive Officer of PCTI Clinical Trials, Inc. in 1999. In 2006, they became Senior Director of the OhioHealth Research and Innovation Institute. In 2020, they were appointed Executive Director of the Surgical Critical Care Initiative (SC2i) at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. Most recently, in 2021, they took on the role of Head of Commercial Development & Operations at GeoVax Labs, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOVX).
John Niles earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, a Master's degree in Physiology from The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology/Biological Sciences from Salem State University. Additionally, they obtained an Executive Leadership Coach certification from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies in March 2019.
