Nikos K.

Nikos K. has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 when they were a Research Group Member at the University of Patras. In 2009, they joined the Hellenic National Defense General Staff as an Airman First Class. In 2012, they became a Contractor/Research Intern at Philips. In 2018, they worked as a Scientist at Philips and a Senior Research Engineer at Etiometry Inc. Currently, Nikos K. is the Co-founder & Director of Data Science at Gerald Technologies, Inc.

Nikos K. received their High School Diploma from Hellenic American Educational Foundation Athens College - Psychico College in 2003. Nikos then went on to earn a Diploma (M.S. equivalency) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Patras in 2009. In 2010, Nikos K. earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia Engineering. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University in 2018. Additionally, Nikos K. has obtained two certifications: a Fellowship Completion from The Data Incubator in March 2020, and a Machine Learning by Stanford University from Coursera in January 2019.
