The need for collective business action to regenerate landscapes is urgent: Competitive extractive systems threaten long-term business viability because we are all dependent upon the same resources. Isolated, single-issue solutions fall short. By collaborating and adopting holistic landscape approaches, businesses can secure supply into the future and contribute to a more resilient, regenerative economy.

So, how do we drive the transition? The Gerana Initiative is here to help. By building bridges between business and their sourcing landscapes the Gerana Initiative helps companies organise for collective action.

Our approach is different. We guide companies through a journey of discovery, rather than offering a ready-made solution. Through our Learning Community, Landscape Discovery Labs, and Landscape Partnerships, companies can engage with each other on designing and implementing real-world actions that contribute to long-term positive impact within supply networks and local communities.

The Gerana Initiative creates value through coordinated risk management, aggregated ambition, and regulatory compliance. Companies joining the Gerana Initiative will benefit from peer learning, capacity building, and an opportunity to scale impact in collaboration with others.
