Douglas Basilio

Douglas Basilio is an experienced maintenance coordinator with a strong background in the steel and mining industries. Currently serving as Coordenador de manutenção at Gerdau since October 2023, Douglas manages the electromecanical inspection team and oversees operations in the Sinterization 2 and Coke Grinding Circuit. Previous roles include coordination of maintenance processes at CSN, where Douglas focused on maintenance engineering, planning, and contract management, and earlier positions at Vale and Vallourec, emphasizing contract management, process improvement, and successful project coordination. Douglas holds a graduate degree in Business and Process Management from PUC Minas, an MBA in Industrial Maintenance Management, and a degree in Production Engineering from UNIFASAR.
