Douglas Collus has extensive experience in mechanical engineering and maintenance coordination. Initially serving as a Reliability Engineering Intern at Novelis do Brasil, responsibilities included maintenance planning and the creation of maintenance indicators. At GRUPO MPE, Douglas was a Mechanical Engineer, overseeing preventive maintenance for rolling stock and auxiliary vehicles. As Maintenance Engineering Coordinator at Grupo MPE, Douglas managed intervention schedules for the Fortaleza Metro fleet and coordinated multidisciplinary teams. Currently, Douglas serves as Coordenador de Manutenção at Gerdau, leading maintenance operations for a central workshop. Douglas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics with an emphasis on Mechatronics from Universidade de Taubaté and a postgraduate specialization in Reliability Engineering and Asset Management from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais.
