At the GLSN it is our goal to teach our students of all age groups and skill levels the ability to effectively communicate in the German language —verbally and in writing, while providing a fun-loving environment in which the students experience, enjoy and appreciate German culture.
The school was founded in 2001 and has since been offering German classes for toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults of all ages and all skill levels. Learning German at GLSN provides a valuable international experience and the bilingual advantage creates true global opportunities.
Our outstanding educational curriculum is endorsed by the Central Agency for Schools Aboard (ZFA) and based on the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR). Through this specialized curriculum we provide a learning experience that enhances academics, social and emotional learning as well as cultural aspects of the German language.
Whether you are a native speaker encouraging your child in their German heritage, or a parent wishing to raise a bilingual child, we have a program to support you! Our programs foster exchange of ideas and provide the resources and support to assist you in your efforts.
