Established in 1957, the German School Jakarta (DSJ) is one of Indonesia’s finest international schools (A-accredited SPK). Our large, world-class campus in the green heart of BSD offers ample space to thrive and grow.

Worldwide Accepted Education: educational excellence from early learning up to the University-Entrance-Qualification granting your children access to the best universities in Germany and the world.

All nationalities Welcome: Your children do not need to speak German to join our growing community of students from Indonesia, Germany, Korea, USA and many more countries. Our qualified teachers will take care of that in a proven, stress-free way.

Multilingual Competence: our students speak at least 3 languages enabling them to communicate with no less than 1,7 billion people worldwide, providing a competitive edge in tomorrow’s job market.

Focus on the Child instead Profit:
Due to being part of a global network of 140 German-Government-supported schools abroad and our non-profit nature, DSJ is one of the most affordable, internationally recognised schools in Indonesia.

Nurturing Curiosity and Joy in Life-Long-Learning: to prepare our students for tomorrow’s challenges we continue on our 65 year long mission to focus on quality education and the development of each and every child’s potential.
