Brian Sweet

Brian Sweet currently serves as the Executive Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research at Geron Corporation, a position held since March 2025, focusing on developing a global HEOR program. Prior to this role, Brian Sweet worked at Bristol Myers Squibb from September 2016 to October 2024, leading teams in Real World Evidence and Oncology HEOR functions, achieving significant funding and savings for oncology research initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director for US Payer & Real World Evidence at AstraZeneca, where a groundbreaking US strategy was established, and as Chief Pharmacy Officer at Anthem, Inc., managing a substantial Clinical Services team and budget. Brian Sweet holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, both from the University at Buffalo.
