Ludwig Waffenschmidt

Ludwig Waffenschmidt is a Softwareingenieur at Gestalt Robotics since January 2021, specializing in software development for robotic systems. Prior experience includes serving as a Scientific Assistant at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering at RWTH Aachen, where Ludwig developed an Automated Guided Vehicle using ROS and a web application for remote control. Additionally, at the Chair of Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components, contributions involved the development of components for an autonomous tool trolley, utilizing technologies such as Microsoft HoloLens and Vue.js. Prior roles also included designing features for traffic and urban planning software at Ingenieurgruppe IVV and an internship at Anvis. Ludwig holds a Master of Science in Automation Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
