Michele Mossi

Michele Mossi is the President and Chief Executive Officer of GESTE Engineering SA. They also serve as President of GESTE Group SA since 2022, President of GESTE Engineering Belgium SA since 2017, and President of GESTE Engineering France SAS since 2016, and as Chief Technology Officer of Loop Aix-Marseille since 2020. They previously served as Deputy in the Parliament of the Canton Vaud from 2007 to 2017 and as a conseiller communal in Ecublens from 2008 to 2020, including as Président du conseil communal. They founded GESTE Engineering ltd (1999-2001) and led GESTE Engineering ltd (2000-2008), with responsibilities for tunnel ventilation of Lausanne's M2 metro line, and served as Technical and operational director of Swissmetro. Their education includes a PhD and MSc in Physical Engineering, Physics from EPFL (1989-1994) and a Master's in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Polytechnique (1993-1994); they were a Research Assistant at EPFL from 1994 to 1999.
