Josh Britton has a long history of work experience in the field of education. Josh began their career in 1997 as a student teacher at Solanco High School. In 1997, they also became a math teacher at Aberdeen High School. In 1998, they joined Lampeter-Strasburg School District as a math and computer science teacher. During their time there, they created the core software for Get More Math. In 2016, they founded Get More Math and held the positions of Founder & CEO, Founder & Chief Product Officer, and Founder & CTO. As CEO, they identified and adhered to key success metrics for long-term success and empowered management to take initiative and foster high communication. As Chief Product Officer, they managed the company's transition from a small, owner-operated company to a scaled up subsidiary of Front Porch, Inc. and led the massive increase in dynamically generated math content. As CTO, they acquired funding to launch Get More Math, hired a small team to get the company up and running, and proved economic viability of business model with early adoptions and early revenue.
Josh Britton began their educational journey in 1987 when they attended Haverford College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Theirtory in 1991. In 1995, they attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania and obtained a Post-Baccalaureate in Secondary Math Teaching in 1996. Josh also had a Semester Abroad at Universitat de Barcelona in 1990. Finally, in 2007 they obtained a Master's Degree in Education from Gratz College. Additionally, they have a certification in Secondary Math Education from Pennsylvania.
