Simon Klinkenberg has a diverse education history. Simon started their education at KNVB where they pursued a degree in Trainer Coach 3 in Football. Following this, they attended Northgo College from 1996 to 2001, earning a HAVO degree in Economics and Society. Later, they enrolled at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they studied Physical Educator and obtained a Bachelor's degree from 2002 to 2007.
