John Branam

John Branam has extensive work experience in various roles within the education and non-profit sectors. John is currently the Executive Director at the Get Schooled Foundation since May 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director at the 1Million Project Foundation from February 2017 to April 2019. In 2016, John worked as the Interim Executive Director at "I Have a Dream" Oregon. Before that, they were a Partner at The Learning Accelerator from November 2013 to June 2016. John also served as the Deputy Director at Grantmakers for Education from November 2008 to June 2013. John has worked in Portland Public Schools as the Director of Development from August 2005 to October 2008. John Branam received a BA in Political Science from Washington and Lee University. John later attained a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law, focusing on American/U.S. Law/Legal Studies/Jurisprudence.
