Jun Choe

Jun Choe has a solid background in the field of DevOps and quality assurance. Jun is currently serving as the Director of DevOps at Getac Video Solutions, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, Jun worked as the Senior DevOps Manager at the same company from April 2018 to July 2022.

Before joining Getac Video Solutions, Jun held the role of QA Automation Manager at Calabrio, Inc from November 2012 to March 2018. During this time, they managed a team of 15 members and oversaw multiple testing projects encompassing both manual and automated testing. Jun was responsible for establishing and maintaining automation test suites to ensure high-quality standards.

From January 2010 to December 2012, Jun held two different roles at Target: Release Quality Manager in the Store Application group and Quality Process Consultant in Testing COE. Jun'sresponsibilities involved coordinating enterprise-level testing for major store application releases and contributing to the QA process for a large-scale QA team.

Jun's career also includes a role as a Senior IT Quality Consultant at UnitedHealth Group from June 2007 to December 2009, where they worked on implementing and maintaining contact applications between physicians, hospitals, and the UnitedHealth Network. Additionally, they have experience as a Quality Analyst at SPSS from June 2005 to June 2007, and as a Systems Engineer at AMI Imaging Systems from 1998 to 2002.

Overall, Jun Choe's work experience demonstrates their expertise in DevOps, quality assurance management, coordination of testing efforts, and process improvement within various organizations in the software development sector.

Jun Choe obtained a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained another Master's degree in Materials Science from Korea University from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Jun Choe also completed a Cybersecurity Awareness Training certification from ESET North America in November 2020.
