Don Rua's work experience starts in 1999, when they co-founded FullSeven Technologies and served as CEO and Co-Founder. Don was responsible for the growth of the business, including product management and development, acquiring initial customers, and raising institutional funding.
In 2004, Don Rua joined Raymond James Financial, Inc. as a Product Manager, where they developed and managed a product suite of websites and e-marketing programs for a network of 5000 financial advisors. Don then became the Sr. Product Manager, overseeing all web properties for the company, and later served as a Marketing Technology Strategist, coordinating the firm's marketing technology roadmap and strategy. Don managed ten direct reports and delivered training to over 100 marketers.
In 2017, Don Rua joined Grow Financial Federal Credit Union as a Digital Marketing Strategist, where they created a multi-channel marketing automation function. Don was responsible for launching multiple campaigns, coding HTML/CSS, and directing agency partners.
From 2017 to 2019, Don Rua worked at Benseron Hospitality as a Digital Marketing Director. Don created and executed the digital marketing roadmap across all channels, managed email campaigns and online advertising strategy, and implemented content strategy.
In 2018, Don Rua started their own company, Rua Digital Group, where they provided all-channels marketing expertise, strategy, and execution. Don focused on driving revenue growth and measurable marketing goals for clients using various digital marketing techniques.
In 2019, Don Rua joined Admiral: The Visitor Relationship Management Company as a Marketing Director. Don oversaw day-to-day operations and planning for all digital channels, leveraging omnichannel and buyer stage knowledge to drive value from each campaign. Clients included NBC Universal, WRAL of Capital Broadcasting, and Hearst media.
Throughout their career, Don Rua has also been an active member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Internet Marketing Roundtable, sharing best practices and industry insights with peers.

Don Rua has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in English Literature from the University of South Florida. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including the Inbound certification from HubSpot Academy, the Drift Conversational Marketing and Drift Playbook Basics certifications from Drift, and the Advanced Search Engine Optimization certification from Tampa SEO Training Academy. Don Rua also has plans to obtain certifications in Google Analytics, Pragmatic Marketing Framework, and Sitecore Certified Technology Specialist.
