Timur Girgin

Timur Girgin is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a background in cloud engineering and application development. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Alma since September 2022, Timur previously held positions including Senior Software Engineer at Fairwinds and Senior Developer at Blue Raster. With expertise in integrating AWS services and maintaining client accounts, Timur has developed applications using various tools such as Leaflet, D3, and ArcGIS for JavaScript. Notably, Timur has also led the development of a mobile application for pilots at Fluge Aviation and produced interactive maps during tenure as a cartographer. Educated with a BS in Geographic Information Science and a minor in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Timur brings a strong collaborative spirit and problem-solving capabilities to software and engineering projects.
