Gutsche Schmidt

Gutsche Schmidt has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Chartered Accountant at PwC Cape Town from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they gained professional experience as an auditor and provided technical training sessions and coaching to colleagues. Gutsche then moved to PwC Nederland in 2015, where they were a Valuation specialist, CFA charterholder and Financial Instrument & Valuations Specialist. In 2018, Gutsche Schmidt became an MBA Graduate at IE Business School. Gutsche then worked as a Senior Category Merchant Manager at Amazon from 2019 to 2020, and is currently a Financial Advisor at TASKSUITE and Chief Financial Officer at Backd Business Funding, both from 2022.

Gutsche Schmidt completed a Master of Business Administration - MBA from IE Business School in 2018, a degree in Accounting from Stellenbosch University between 2008 and 2011, and attended Menlopark High School from 2003 to 2007.
