Akhil Kumar

Akhil Kumar is a seasoned professional with a robust background in design and product management. Currently serving as Co-Founder and COO at Crest since January 2022, Akhil previously held the position of Lead Product Designer at Mate Labs from December 2020 to December 2021. Akhil's career at Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. spanned five years, where roles included Senior Manager Design and Design Manager. Academic experience includes a Teaching Assistant role at the Industrial Design Centre, where Akhil contributed to the design of affordable solar panels for rural India, along with multiple internships focused on transportation planning and public transport systems. Akhil holds a degree in Industrial Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Planning from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
