Phuoc Do is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, expected to graduate in May 2025. Phuoc serves as a Teaching Assistant for CICS 210 - Data Structures and as a Research Assistant at WSSLab since May 2024. Previously, Phuoc held the position of Undergraduate Course Assistant for CS389 - Introduction to Machine Learning from February to May 2024. Phuoc gained valuable experience as a Deep Learning Research Intern at The Feinstein Institutes during the summer of 2023, where responsibilities included pre-processing 3D FDG-PET images from Alzheimer’s Disease patients and developing a CNN model that improved accuracy by 17% over traditional machine learning methods. Phuoc earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the same institution in May 2024.
