Gareth Williams

Gareth Williams has extensive experience in geoscience and engineering, currently serving as an Asset Engineer (R&E) specializing in Geotechnics at Network Rail since August 2019 and as a Senior Geoscientist at Getech since October 2018. Previous roles include Senior Geoscientist at ERCL, where responsibilities involved providing geophysical and geological input for proprietary and multiclient projects from January 2015 to October 2018, and a secondment as a Geoscientist at Serica Energy plc, focusing on Namibian and Moroccan acreage from November 2013 to January 2015. Gareth also liaises with the Petroleum Directorate of Sierra Leone to offer technical advice and support for licensing efforts while coordinating projects between Sierra Leone and the UK. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from The University of Manchester and an MESci in Geology from the University of Liverpool.
