Lourens Koen

Lourens Koen has a strong background in project management and professional services. Lourens is currently working as the Delivery Director at Getech, a position they have held since September 2017. Prior to that, they were the Senior Project Manager at Esri UK from December 2016 to August 2017. Lourens also served as the Head of Professional Services at Citi Logik Limited from January 2016 to November 2016.

Earlier in their career, Lourens held various roles at Esri UK, including Engagement & Project Manager from January 2009 to January 2014 and Implementation Services Manager from June 2007 to December 2008. Before joining Esri UK, they worked as a Senior Consultant & Project Manager at Pitney Bowes MapInfo GDC Limited from January 2003 to May 2007.

Lourens began their career as a Consultant at GDC Limited from September 1998 to December 2002. Lourens also worked as a Town Planner at TRC Africa Ltd from January 1997 to August 1998.

Lourens Koen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Town and Regional Planning from the University of Pretoria in 1996. Prior to that, they attended Standerton High School in South Africa from 1987 to 1991. Lourens also holds a certification as a PRINCE2 Practitioner from PRINCE2.
