Suma D has worked in various roles since 2015. In 2015, they were a Process Specialist - HR & Operations (North America Talent Acquisition) at Infosys, where they recruited US & Canadian candidates for various IT roles. Suma also completed an internship as a PLC & Scada Project Engineer (Industrial Automation Engg.) - Experiential Learning. In 2017, they were a Sr. Associate - PAN India Recruitment (Contractor) at Accenture, where they recruited candidates for various Infrastructure, Security, ERP & Development roles. Currently, they are a Sr. Consultant/Analyst - AI platform at EdGE Networks Pvt. Ltd., where they are part of an R&D team that provides next-gen solutions for talent acquisition and workforce management to the Human Resources sector using Advanced NLP technologies, data science approach and intelligence layer (AI). Her responsibilities include data research, data annotation (labeling) and data validation tasks to support Data Science team.

Suma D completed their High School studies at Sri Vani Girls High School - Karnataka Vidya Peeta, Rajajinagar and obtained a General Studies degree. Suma then went on to pursue Pre-University studies at M.E.S Kishora Kendra, Malleshwaram, Bangalore-3, where they obtained a Science - PCMB degree. Subsequently, they completed their B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering at Dayananda Sagar Institutions, DSCE, Bangalore. Suma also attended St. John Keats English Primary School, Bangalore. In addition, Suma D obtained a CAE (Certified in Automation Engineering) from Technocrat Automation Pvt. Limited in November 2013 and a Soft Skills Certification - Dynamic Skills Integrated Program from CIL (Centre for Innovation & Leadership) Dept., Dayananda Sagar Institutions.
