Brandon Shiaw

Brandon Shiaw is currently a Senior Product Manager at Flex. Prior to that, they were a Senior Product Manager at Acorns from April 2018 to August 2020. In this role, they managed the only checking account that saves and invests for you, Acorns Spend! Prior to joining Acorns, Brandon worked as a Lead Product Manager at AuditBoard from May 2017 to April 2018, where they launched a new product offering that opened up a entirely new revenue stream for the company with immediate up-sell opportunities and strengthened retention from existing clientele. Brandon also implemented a product prioritization framework that streamlined a backlog of 400+ requests into a clear product roadmap.

Brandon began their career as a Senior Consultant | Product Management at Deloitte Digital from August 2011 to February 2017. In this role, they led key product development initiatives such as UX/UI discovery, lo/hi-fi prototyping and various agile processes resulting in improved product quality with a 30% reduction of bugs. Brandon then went on to become the Founder/Chief Information Officer at Lambda Phi Nhu (formerly known as Beta Alpha Psi) from September 2010 to June 2011.

Brandon Shiaw has a B.A. in Economics from UC Irvine and a High School Diploma from Cypress High School. Brandon also has certification from Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
