Kyle Rhoades, CFA

Kyle Rhoades, CFA, currently serves as the VP of Capital Markets & Treasury at Flex, a position held since September 2022. Previously, Rhoades was the VP Head of Capital Markets and Treasury at Oportun from April 2018 to August 2022. Rhoades has extensive experience in finance, having worked at Lending Club as a Sr Director of Finance and Fixed Income Valuation Director from December 2015 to April 2018, with a brief consultancy at RealtyShares in November 2015. Rhoades also held positions at Bank of America, where significant achievements included ranking #1 in stock-picking within the mortgage finance sector and notably increasing industry coverage by 200%. Earlier experience includes serving as VP of Risk at Redwood Trust, where Rhoades developed a risk management framework for a $5.3 billion balance sheet, and as VP Portfolio Manager at Thornburg Mortgage, responsible for interest rate risk management for a $55 billion balance sheet. Rhoades earned a BA in Economics and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
