Xiangping Bu

Xiangping Bu is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in machine learning and risk management. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer at Flex since May 2023, Xiangping previously held the position of CTO at eCreditPal from February 2017 to May 2023, where responsibilities included leading the design and development of over 100 credit and fraud models, as well as 500+ risk strategies utilizing various machine learning algorithms. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Data Scientist and Data Scientist at PayPal, focusing on end-to-end data science processes and risk analysis. Academically, Xiangping earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
