Xin Ge

Xin Ge is an experienced risk management and fintech executive, currently serving as an Executive in Residence at Matrix and as an advisor to multiple companies including Fuse Technologies, Flex, and Oscilar Inc. From May 2018 to April 2023, Xin Ge held key leadership roles at Afterpay, including Chief Technology and Risk Officer and Global Chief Risk and Analytics Officer. Previous positions include Head of Risk Management at Uber and various roles at PayPal, where responsibilities included managing seller risk and building the Shanghai Risk Center. Xin Ge's career also includes significant experience at eBay in risk analytics and an early role as an econometrician at Demandtec. Xin Ge holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
