Atul Sharma

Atul Sharma has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and development. Atul started their career as a Freelance Software Engineer, where they developed and managed the release of MVP for technological solutions across Web, Mobile, and IoT. Atul also created various advertising platformer games for pharmaceutical companies.

After freelancing, Atul joined IDfy as a Full Stack Developer 2. Here, they developed applications and managed uptime for a product providing risk and fraud detection solutions for EKYC processes. Atul also re-architected the service into micro-services, significantly improving its performance.

Following IDfy, Atul worked at Upstox as a Software Engineer, where they optimized and built services for India's fastest-growing trading platform. Atul re-architected the lead generation-to-call pipeline, improving lead conversion rates. Atul also introduced canary deployments for testing new features and optimizations.

At Indecab, Atul served as a Full Stack Engineer. Atul spearheaded the redesign of the payments service, introduced customizable report generation and dashboards, and implemented internationalization and localization features to acquire global customers.

After Indecab, Atul joined Proton as a Backend Engineer. Here, they played a mid/senior level role in the core product team, building an AI-powered CRM for distributors. Atul designed the architecture and built Proton. ai's novel data-lake, resulting in significant improvements in analytics and query latency.

Atul Sharma pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering from 2012 to 2016. In March 2017, they also obtained the certification of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle.
