Elaine Bruce

Elaine Bruce has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Elaine is currently the Vice President of Underwriting at Foresight Commercial Insurance since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Underwriting Specialist at the same company from November 2020 to November 2021.

From 2017 to 2020, Elaine was an Underwriting Manager at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. Before that, they served as a Senior Underwriter at Everest Insurance® from 2013 to 2017.

Elaine also has previous experience at EMPLOYERS, where they held the roles of Sales Executive from 2009 to 2012 and Senior Underwriter from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they worked as a District Underwriting Manager, CSC at State Compensation Insurance Fund from 2003 to 2007.

Earlier in their career, Elaine worked at State Compensation Insurance Fund as an Underwriter from 2001 to 2003. Elaine'sresponsibilities included performing underwriting field inspections, acting as a face of the company to customers, and participating in legal depositions regarding potential premium fraud cases.

Elaine began their insurance career as an Underwriter at HIH Insurance Company in 1998. In this role, they evaluated risk, priced appropriately, and managed the production of assigned agency partners using alternative pricing programs.
