Brian Ringer

Brian Ringer is the founder and CEO of Emerald Technology Group, which offers the GetGreen app for companies to drive sustainable behavior change. Brian worked as a technology advisor and interim CTO at Coinme in 2020-2021. From 2010 to 2020, they held various positions at Napster (Rhapsody International), including EVP and General Manager Asia Pacific, and CTO and EVP of Operations. Brian also worked at RealNetworks as VP Environmental Programs and VP Music Engineering, and at CheckOut.com as SVP Engineering. Brian founded and served as CEO of Emerald Objects Corporation, a startup focused on AI and object-oriented programming, from 1994 to 1997.

Brian Ringer earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from UCLA in 1988. Brian then attended UCLA from 1989-1992, earning their Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
