John Romano is the Senior Director of Sales and Support at GetHired. John has over fifteen years of experience in the Human Capital Management industry. Prior to joining GetHired, John was a Solutions Consultant with Heartland Payroll Solutions where they provided technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars to assist with understanding clients' pain points and needs analysis. John also helped with the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of Heartland's HCM Solution. John was responsible for increasing the product knowledge level for a national salesforce through ongoing education, knowledge sharing, and product training sessions.

Before their time at Heartland Payroll Solutions, John was an Account Manager at EY for three years. John then transitioned into the role of Senior Consultant at Tax Credit Co. (TCC), a national provider of tax incentive consulting, technology, and administration. At TCC, John worked with businesses of all sizes to help them realize the value of tax incentive programs that federal and state governments use to encourage economic growth. John also helped companies compete with other states and countries and improve employment for targeted groups. John has a wealth of experience in the industry and their main areas of expertise are Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), HIRE Act Incentives, Enterprise Zones, Research & Development tax credits, Empowerment Zones, and Renewal Communities.

After their time at TCC, John transitioned into Business Development at Incentives Advisors where they worked for four years before joining GetHired. At Incentives Advisors, John worked with hundreds of businesses, including many Fortune 500 companies. John helped these companies navigate the complex world of tax incentives and maximize their potential benefits.
