Brian Prais is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development within the medical technology industry. Currently serving as the Director of R&D Engineering at Getinge since March 2017, Brian previously held leadership positions at Maquet Cardiovascular, where responsibilities included Director of R&D Instrumentation Engineering and Manager of Sustaining Engineering, from June 2008 to April 2017. Prior experience includes roles at Datascope Corporation as Senior Principal Engineer/Project Manager and Principal Engineer/Project Manager from 2004 to 2008. Brian holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, both from Stevens Institute of Technology, earned between 1997 and 2017.
