Cihan Simsek

Cihan Simsek is a highly experienced Cybersecurity Expert with over 14 years in the field, specializing in the automotive, medical devices, and industrial control systems sectors. They have previously held roles such as a Security Software Engineer at Enea AB, where they developed secure software for TCP/IP network products, and a Cybersecurity Architect at Getinge, focusing on cybersecurity preparedness for critical medical devices. Cihan has also contributed to various cybersecurity standards and practices as a consultant and architect at companies including Scania Group and ABB. Cihan holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from Sabanci University and an M.Sc. in Information and Communication Systems Security from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. They currently lead product cybersecurity efforts at HiQ.
