Dr Jörg Kurz

Dr. Jörg Kurz is currently the Medical Director of Organ Support Therapy at Baxter International Inc. and has extensive experience in the Medtech industry, including roles as a Regulatory Affairs Manager and Clinical Evaluation expert. Previously, Dr. Kurz served as a Facharzt in Anesthesia at Deutsches Herzzentrum München and as a scientific assistant at several prestigious institutions, focusing on anesthesia and intensive care medicine. Dr. Kurz holds multiple degrees in medicine and regulatory affairs, including a promotion from Technische Universität München and a distinction in medicine from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. With over 15 years of clinical experience in ECMO and a solid scientific background in molecular biology, electrophysiology, and neuropharmacology, Dr. Kurz combines medical expertise with innovation in medical device regulation and clinical trial design.
