Fiona Taylor

Fiona Taylor is an experienced professional in the bioprocessing and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as the Sales Director for Bioprocessing in the EMEA region at Getinge since April 2020. Prior roles include Area Manager (Sales - Europe & APAC) and Bioreactor Sales Specialist at the same company, as well as Bioreactor Sales Specialist at Applikon Biotechnology until May 2023. Fiona also worked at Mologic as Protein Unit Manager, overseeing the production of recombinant proteins and managing a team of scientists and technicians, and served as a Research Scientist at the Biorenewables Development Centre, focusing on the valorisation of waste. Earlier, Fiona was a PhD student at Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture, studying soil-borne potato pathogen control. Fiona holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School, a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Glasgow, and a BSc in Biology from the University of Dundee.
