Mariusz Borek

Mariusz Borek has extensive experience in financial accounting and control, currently serving as the Financial Controller for the UK at Getinge since October 2017, with prior roles as Senior and Experienced Accountant. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable, receivable, general ledger activities, fixed asset maintenance, and month-end closing processes. Mariusz has also participated in internal controls and process improvements while ensuring high-quality accounting services. Previous experience at IBM from January 2014 to October 2017 encompassed roles as GL Accountant and AR Analyst, focusing on journal entries, account reconciliation, cash collection, and customer relationship management. Mariusz began a career at Arvex as a Magazynier and holds a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting from Krakow University of Economics.
