Mark Long is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the medical and advertising sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Acute Care Therapies for Japan and Commercial Operations for the APAC region at Getinge since September 2011, Mark oversees the ACT marketing and sales team, managing P&L responsibilities and driving organic growth. Prior roles at Getinge include Director of Commercial Operations APAC and Business Development Manager APAC, focusing on vascular systems and acute care products. Mark's career also includes foundational roles in the advertising industry, such as Country Manager at Look Media in Japan and Manager of Sales and Marketing at Look Media Korea, where innovative advertising strategies were developed. An entrepreneur at heart, Mark founded the Ladybug Initiative, overseeing all facets of the business, and began professional endeavors as an English teacher. Mark holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Otago and language qualifications in Japanese and Korean.
