Terry Barnes

Terry Barnes is an experienced R&D Project Manager at Getinge, leading the development of a high-priority medical device since March 2025. Prior to this role, Terry served as CEO and Managing Director of Venock Medical, where responsibilities included spearheading operations, establishing intellectual property, directing device development, and securing over $2 million in seed funding. Notable previous positions include Senior R&D Engineer at Tripair™ developed by Coramaze and Thoratec (now part of St. Jude Medical), where Terry managed engineering projects focused on advanced medical devices and led chronic clinical trials. Terry's career began as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Viacor, Inc., contributing to CE mark certification efforts, and included significant engineering roles at LightLab Imaging and Foster-Miller. Terry holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
