Umut Sayar

Umut Sayar is a Software Engineering Manager and Tech Lead at Getir, with experience in microservices architecture and technologies such as NodeJS, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, and AWS Services since October 2020. Notable contributions include designing Rest APIs, implementing a retry mechanism for asynchronous communication, increasing test coverage, and developing solutions for circuit breaking and distributed transactions. Previously, Umut served as Software Development Team Lead at Nurd Innovation Center Turkey, overseeing projects like CWATCH and ITARIAN, and held roles as a Senior Software Developer and Software Engineer at various organizations, including Kale Yazılım and İstanbul Patent Ofisi. An alumnus of Ankara University, Umut holds a degree in Computer Engineering.
