Daniel Rivas

Daniel Rivas, PhD, is a Staff Engineer at Passport since September 2023 and a Lecturer at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, teaching Advanced Computer Architecture. Previously, Daniel held positions as Lead Software Engineer at Encert Predict SL and ML/AI Researcher at Enveda Biosciences. Daniel's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, complemented by a Master's in Innovation and Research in Informatics and an Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution. Early career experience features roles at Intel Corporation as an HPC Software Engineer and Multiprocessor Performance Engineer, as well as Research Assistant positions at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.
