Dr. Jörg Spiller

Dr. Jörg Spiller has a strong background in data science and risk management. Dr. Jörg is currently working at Pliant as the Head of Data Science and Risk. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Data Science and Analytics Germany at TF Bank AB (publ) from 2020 to 2021. Before that, they worked at Wayfair as the Head of Pricing Algorithms and Operations from 2019 to 2020. Dr. Jörg also gained experience at solarisBank AG, where they served as a Senior Rating Manager from 2018 to 2019, and as a Rating Analyst from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant Business Analytics at EOS Gruppe from 2016 to 2017. Their earlier experience includes working as a Research Associate at European University Viadrina from 2011 to 2016.

Dr. Jörg Spiller completed their education with a doctorate degree in Economics, "Dr. rer. pol.", from the European-University Viadrina, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Economics, "Dipl.-Volkswirt", from Universität Rostock, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they received vocational training as a banker at Ostseeparkasse Rostock from 2000 to 2002.
