Samit Varma

Samit Varma has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Samit is the Founder and Managing Director of Quid since January 2017. Prior to that, they were the Founder and General Partner at Troy Capital Partners starting from January 2016. From January 2006 to September 2019, they served as the General Partner at Anthem Venture Partners. Samit also co-founded and served as the CEO of Celenex Inc from January 2017 to September 2018. Additionally, they co-founded and served as the CEO of Pizza Studio from January 2012 to January 2016. Samit has also held positions on the Board of Directors at JanRain, Inc. from January 2010 to August 2014, Audyssey Laboratories from January 2010 to January 2014, and BeachMint from May 2010 to January 2012. Furthermore, they have served as a Board Observer at Siperian from January 2008 to January 2011 and at Wavestream from January 2008 to January 2011.

Samit Varma earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education in Nuclear Engineering at the Nuclear Power School - Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) from 1998 to 2000. Later, from 2003 to 2005, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the USC Marshall School of Business.
