Raphael Steil

Raphael Steil has over eight years of professional experience. In 2012, they worked as an Intern at MindForest Group and as a Teacher's Assistant in Econometrics at UNIL - Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne. In 2014, they were an Off-cycle Intern in Investment Strategy at BNP Paribas Wealth Management. From 2016 to 2020, they were an Associate in the M&A Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank, where they successfully worked on several transactions. In 2020, they became Co-Founder of getquin, a social network for investors. During their time at getquin, they joined the APX accelerator and closed a seed round with Sino, Runa Capital, and APX.

Raphael Steil completed their education history with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Finance from Durham University in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne in 2014. Raphael also obtained a Diplôme de Fin d'Etudes Secondaires in Natural sciences, mathematics, and latin from Lycée des Garçons de Luxembourg in 2011. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Derivatives, Securities, and UK Financial Regulation from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in 2016.
