Matt Svensson

Matt Svensson is a cybersecurity and IT leader with over 15 years of experience in the Department of Defense and various private sector roles. Currently serving as the Director of IT & Security at GetReal since 2024, Matt previously held a similar position at BetterCloud, where significant improvements in security management and compliance were achieved. Matt also served as a Senior Manager of Information Technology with the U.S. Army, managing teams during essential operations. They hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wheaton College, and are actively involved in founding initiatives that support IT security for charities and underrepresented communities.
